Becoming a Parish Councillor

Husbands Bosworth Parish Council holds an election every four years for the position of Councillor. The Council has six positions available for Parish Councillors.

The Parish Council is the first tier of Government, representing and working for the interests of the residents of the parish.

Councillors are either elected or co-opted and the Council holds an election every four years. The next election will be held in May 2019.

    Nominations Pack for Parish Council Elections 2019.

    The completed document must be delivered by hand to Harborough District Council before 4pm on 3rd April 2019. Nomination papers received at the District Council after this time will not be accepted.

    If you do not have access to a printer, you may collect a copy of the Nomination Pack from the Parish Office on request.
